Financial Aid

We welcome you! Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions. If you have already completed the FAFSA and are transferring into Pikes Peak Community College just callTelephone1-800-433-3243 to add PPCC to your college list. PPCC's school code is 008896. We will get your information electronically in 5-7 working days and you will receive a new Student Aid Report. No other documentation is necessary at this time until the Student Aid Report is processed by the Department of Education. However, it may be necessary for the school to request more information after the Student Aid Report is received. Notifications are done by mail.

Complete the application online, print the certification page, ensure the form is signed prior to mailing the certification form to the Federal processors.

Note: Students who are currently in high school (or currently being home schooled) and considered still in secondary education are not eligible for Federal or State financial aid funding.

APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID

There are several financial resources available for students who wish to apply for financial assistance. Students should start the process by applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The application will instruct them as to which tax return they will need to refer to. This application is available at all three campus locations or on the Internet at http://www.FAFSA.ed.gov/. This process may take 3 – 4 weeks so students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. The applications for the academic year beginning in August are available January 2nd of that year. Since these applications are processed by the Department of Education, please do not send any additional forms with the FAFSA application. They will be discarded upon receipt.
