Earth Day's Trash Art Competition
Congratulations to 1st place winner, Ben Smith!
Students had the awesome opportunity to create art out of trash. This competition challenged students to look at their trash differently. Can we reuse a lot of what we throw away? Can we recycle it? This competition will create a new legacy at PPCC. We will create art out of trash! We will reduce the waste that goes to the landfill through art & reverence for our land, air, water and all living things.
The Trash Art Competition is part of PPCC's Earth Day 2012 celebration. All students were welcome to enter into the competition using the criteria. All pieces were judged by three judges. The top three prize winners were be announced at Earth Day 2012. This competition was a huge success; we hope to continue it for all Earth Day celebrations at PPCC!
