Earth Day's Trash Art Competition
All artists have an opportunity to win $500!
Students have an opportunity to create art out of trash. This competition challenges students to look at their trash differently. Can we reuse a lot of what we throw away? Can we recycle it? This competition will create a new legacy at PPCC. We will create art out of trash! We will reduce the waste that goes to the landfill through art & reverence for our land, air, water and all living things.
The Trash Art Competition is part of PPCC's Earth Day celebration. All student were welcome to enter into the competition using the criteria listed below. All pieces were judged on 4.9.12 by three judges. The top three prize winners will be announced at Earth Day. There is a new award that the artists can win. It's a people's choice award. It's up to you to decide who wins. Come to our event and vote for your favorite art piece. Also, come and enjoy the free food, give-a-ways, raffle prizes, music and more.
Earth Day is April 25 at 11am-2pm in the Centennial Campus Atrium! Hope to see you all there.
