What are Our Student Learning Outcomes?

Faculty at Pikes Peak Community College developed a series of outcomes - or clear statements - of what we hope students will have learned and be able to do by the time they leave us. We want to know what we do well and what we could improve.

Assessment of the outcomes helps us answers the question:

How well does our general education curriculum work to help our students achieve the goals of the college?

Below are specific outcomes for the eight areas of focus.

In addition to the outcomes above, each Career and Technical Education (CTE) program, transfer degree program, and college preparatory department (English and math) identifies its own student learning outcomes.  These outcomes are specific to individual programs or departments and may be obtained by contacting the Office of the Vice President for Instructional Services at (719) 502-3100.
