Distance Learning Classes

Orientation (for online and hybrid classes)

You may enroll in the practice course in Desire2Learn, the software that PPCC and CCC Online use for their courses. There you can participate in discussions, turn in a practice assignment, take a quiz and generally become familiar with how online classes work and with the software itself.

Orientation (for television-based courses)

Look on your Desire2Learn homepage; you will be enrolled in the orientation for televised and video conferenced classes the week before classes begin.

How to Self-Register in the Practice Course,

Visit ppccConnect and use the same login information you used when registering for classes.

• Click on Self Registration under the PPCC logo
• Click on Welcome to eLearning-Internet and Hybrid Students (Spring 2012)
• Click on Register
• Click Submit
• Click on Finish

Hi, my name is Aarnie and I will give you an interactive tour of Desire2Learn. It will take about 20 minutes to finish the entire tour but you can stop and come back to visit me at any time.
