Charter Schools and Concurrent Enrollment
PPCC offers charter school students the opportunity to participate in Concurrent Enrollment to earn dual credit for college classes. Any student attending a charter school in grades 9 through 12, may participate in the program. In addition, there are provisions that may allow seniors to participate in college preparatory classes as well.
Under the provisions of Concurrent Enrollment, charter schools are allowed to pay the college tuition, books and fees for the college classes their students take at the community college. The details of how much a charter school will pay to send their students to PPCC are specific to each charter school. Parents and students are advised to check with the charter school to determine exactly what financial assistance is available through their school. A list of charter schools with whom PPCC has established working partnerships is found on this website, along with their contact information.
