Home Schooled Students

Pikes Peak Community College (PPCC) offers home-schooled students the opportunity to begin their college education with us and also earn transferable college credit.  We are an Open Access school which means that we do not require a high school diploma, home school diploma, or a GED to be admitted.  Neither do we count on GPA or a transcript to enroll you in our college.  Instead, we admit all students who apply and use the results of a standardized assessment test (ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer) to determine what classes you may take at the community college.  If you happen to be younger than age 17, there is a waiver form you may complete and submit to gain access to the community college.

As one of the state's premier community colleges, Pikes Peak Community College strives to be the school of choice for home-schooled students.  We offer a wide variety of college level classes designed to complete the general education requirements required by most four-year colleges. In addition, we also offer a variety of other special interest courses.
