COAT Updates: Working for Student Success

The College Outcomes Assessment Team (COAT) will sponsor faculty training on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., room A-167, Centennial Campus. The training is designed to help faculty clarify differences between departmental and general education assessment.

Another training will be offered on Friday, March 9, to help departments write good learning outcomes and design assessment methods that will inform curriculum and decision making.The second session will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the Rampart Range Campus, room to be determined.

Critical Thinking Enhancement Project
All faculty should continue implementing inference (induction)/deduction assignments in all of their classes as part of the Critical Thinking Enhancement Project.

WEAVE
WEAVE online is available for departments to begin entering information for the 2011-2012 reporting cycle.
