Ensure you have a current driver’s license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance.
Enter Fort Carson through any access gate between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Although there are several gates that can be used, the most common are Gate 1 (the main gate off Highway 115), Gate 4 (“B” street gate just past the PPCC Centennial Campus) and Gate 20 (Fountain/Widefield).
After registering for classes, please inform the PPCC staff that you will need a letter to obtain a post pass sent to Gate 1 (Highway 115 entrance) Visitor Center (ask for directions from the PPCC office staff). The hours of the Visitor Center are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will receive a pass that will be good for the dates of your class(es). Using this pass, you will be able to enter the post through any of the normal entry points.
