Active duty Military and Veterans, spouses and dependents can now earn their college degrees completely online, from anywhere in the world, thanks to a pioneering partnership between Pikes Peak Community College’s Degrees at Ease and Colorado State University’s CSU-Global online campuses.
PPCC and CSU-Global are both approved for VA educational benefits, and offer exclusive discounted tuition rates to Military, Veterans, spouses and dependents through the Montgomery GI Bill.
The PPCC/CSU-Global partnership gives Military the mobility and freedom to go to school from anywhere in the world, making it easy to earn an Associate’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree. The partnership provides students with the assurance of knowing their education is guaranteed by two highly-regarded, fully accredited state institutions of higher education, both with excellent reputations for delivering quality education.
Additionally, through PPCC’s Credit for Prior Learning program, Military personnel can gain college credit for their military job experience and prior training and education. These college credits count toward an Associate’s Degree at PPCC, and can be seamlessly transferred to CSU-Global to complete a Bachelor’s Degree.
By taking advantage of the partnership between PPCC and CSU-Global, students get the best of both worlds, a top-notch education combined with tremendous accessibility and flexibility. Students seeking a four-year degree take their freshman and sophomore level courses through PPCC, and transfer to CSU-Global for their junior and senior level courses, to earn a Bachelor’s Degree completely online.
The degree programs are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, and are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
CSU-Global has partnered with Inspiring Alliance, a non-profit offering assistance to U.S. soldiers having served during Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) or Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) who sustained combat-related injuries in the line of duty. CSU-Global supports the "In My Father's Honor" Scholarship program, created to inspire others to achieve that which they set out to accomplish for personal fulfillment. This scholarship is open exclusively to Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom Wounded Warriors and their immediate family members, as well as loved ones left behind by those who lost their life in the line of duty. Information about the scholarship program is available at inspiringalliance.org/education.html.
