Students from the Area Vocational Program at PPCC competed in the Health Occupations Students of America District competition in Denver, CO March 4-7. Numerous students won individual awards, and the PPCC HOSA Chapter also received awards. Nicole Smith, AVPD student, was elected to serve as a HOSA state officer. Joan Ims and Franklyn Blaha, AVP faculty, are the chapter advisors. Joan Ims was named Advisor of the Year. Congratulations to all!
