Students – here’s your chance to tell us what you need to succeed! The Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) will be given at PPCC in the spring, with the actual dates falling between about mid-February and the end of April depending on schedules.
The CCSSE is a research-based, online survey that helps colleges assess efforts to improve student retention and student learning. Since its start in 2001, CCSSE has been growing in importance as a way students can tell colleges what they need to learn and succeed. The survey asks questions that assess institutional practices and student behaviors that correlate highly with student learning and student retention.
CCSSE is nationally recognized as a way to collect information about how colleges can improve student success. More than 118 community colleges around the country participate in the survey, and PPCC will be joining them this year.
