| Phi Theta Kappa Food Drive a Great Success | ![]() |

What weighs 1525 pounds and will feed dozens of needy students and their families? Non-perishable food and toiletries collected for the PPCC Food Pantry! The PPCC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa spent the day at the 8th street Walmart November 7, along with students from the Black Student Union, Latino Student Union, and Pride Alliance. We experienced a generous outpouring of donations from shoppers that exceeded all expectations. Thanks to all of the volunteers and donors, plus a special thank you to Kathryn Mathis of Sweet Feet Photography (www.sweetfeetphotography.net ) who offered free photo shoots in exchange for food donations. |

| PPCC Fall Dance Concert | |

The PPCC Dance Department and Dance Appreciation Club present a dance concert featuring modern, belly dance, hip hop and improvisational dance styles performed by students and faculty at 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, November 19-20, at the Armstrong Theater at Colorado College, 14 E. Cache la Poudre. The evening features artful accompaniment by Vivian Gail, Drew Bartels and Lauren Ciborowski. |

| Printmaking Students Exhibit at Heebee Jeebees Gallery | |

The Heebee Jeebees Gallery downtown at 318 E. Colorado Ave. is exhibiting the works of PPCC Printmaking students now through November 28. The works include linoleum cuts, drypoints and solar prints, with a focus on the printmaking process so the imagery varies widely. The gallery is open daily from noon to 6 p.m. |
