College Goal Sunday - the Superbowl of financial aid

College Goal Sunday is set for Sunday, February 12, from 2-4 p.m., the Sunday after the Superbowl. It's at Centennial Campus, 5675 S. Academy Blvd., in room A-300, which is the newly-remodeled computer lab. No appointment is necessary. 

College Goal Sunday is a nationwide effort to get as many people signed up for the FAFSA in just two hours. PPCC and UCCS are both offerring the event. Last year, PPCC's financial aid experts served more than 400 students.

In order to complete your FAFSA, you must bring the following:

• 2011 financial records (tax return information)
• Social Security Number(s)
• Driver's license(s)
• Eligible non-citizen documents if not a U.S. citizen
• FAFSA Personal ID Number if you have one; if not, get one on-site.

If you're a dependent, bring your parent. Remember, the earlier you apply, the better your chances for financial aid.
