Future Students Financial Aid Information

Checklist for students that have NEVER attended a college

  1. Apply for admission in a degree or eligible certificate program.
  2. Complete the FAFSA online - this is an annual application and must be renewed each January. Our school code is 008896.
  3. Complete testing - new students only or submit your ACT or SAT scores to the Testing Office,
  4. Go to Career Planning & Advising (CP&A) to get advised.  They will assign you a faculty academic advisor and also assist you with enrolling into your first semester of classes.
  5. Check the status of your award on myPPCC, which is our college Portal. Log into myPPCC and select the "Student Finance" tab. 
  6. Also watch our website to see if additional documentation is requested. You will not be awarded until all documentation that is requested has been submitted and reviewed.
  7. Go to the Bookstore (if you have enough financial aid, you may charge your books against your financial aid account). You may choose to rent or purchase your books.
  8. Go to class!
