Interactive Television Courses

Interactive Television (ITV) courses may work for you if you prefer to watch a teacher but cannot be on a campus. PPCC offers a wide range of math classes and meteorology as 1TV sections. The classes are broadcast live from PPCC's interactive television classroom. Students watch the class on television and call the instructor with questions or comments. The instructor answers the questions during televised class time. ITV courses are broadcast on Comcast Cable (Channel 21). Make sure you can receive that channel before enrolling. When you register, look for classes with a 1TV section number.

1TV students must attend an orientation at the beginning of each semester to learn about homework and testing procedures and to meet the instructor. Click the link for information about current orientations.
