What are proctored tests?

Proctored tests are taken by people who are taking a course at another college or university and who need to take a test under supervision of a college testing office.

Procedures for test proctoring:

  • Contact the college where you are taking the course to get proctoring requirements.
  • Contact the PPCC Testing Center to obtain the required information.
  • Go online to schedule your test
  • There is a test proctoring fee of $25.00 per test for up to three hours. If the test is longer than three hours, call the Testing Center for cost.
  • Special mailing expenses are the students responsibility (i.e. FedEx return, no return envelope provided by the college offering the course).
  • Testing fee should be paid to the PPCC cashier. Bring your receipt to the Testing Center on the day of testing.
  • Test takers must have a valid government -issued photo ID (Drivers license, military ID, State ID).

Pearson Vue

Pearson Vue exams are proctored by Testing Center staff at the Centennial Campus. Pearson Vue delivers certification and licensure tests through the world's largest network of test centers in 175 countries across the world.

  • They offer a multitude of Test Taker Services.
  • Not all test sites offer all of the Pearson Vue tests. Once you choose your desired exam Pearson Vue will let you know what location is closest to you that can administer that particular exam.
  • All payments are due during registration- nothing is due on your day of testing.
  • Pearson Vue offers the GED and Microsoft Certification Exams.

Law School Admission Test (LSAT)

  • The score results from the LSAT are used for admission to law schools.
  • The test is offered on the Pikes Peak Community College campus during the following months: June, October, December, February.

Certified Credit Union Executives (CCUE)

This series of on-line testing is designed for credit union employees. Tests are by appointment only and must be scheduled with the PPCC Testing Center Coordinator.

Workers Compensation Physician Accreditation

Physician Accreditation, offered through the Department of Labor & Employment, Division of Workers’ Compensation.


TEAS

The Nursing Entrance Exam

  • The cost for this exam is $50.
  • Students wanting to take this test need to pay the cashier and bring their receipt to the Testing Center at the location they wish to test at to schedule their exam.
  • It is $20 to reschedule after you have committed to a test date and time.
  • Prior to testing students need to create an account on www.atitesting.com and bring their username and password to the Testing center on the day of testing.
  • Score report is printed by the student upon completion.

TEAS V for AH (HOBET V)

EMT Entrance Exam formerly referred to as the HOBET V

  • The cost for this exam is $40.00.
  • Students wanting to take this test can call the Testing Center at the location they wish to take the exam at.
  • Prior to test day the student will need to go to www.atitesting.com and create a username and password to bring on the day of testing.
  • On test day the student will need to pay the cashier $40.00 and bring their receipt to the testing center.
  • Score report is printed by the student upon completion.

 


Early Childhood Credentialing Exam

Only offered February, June and October

  • Level I, Level II, and Level III Infant/toddler.
  • Examinees may take the test multiple times in the month it is offered.
  • Offered at CC, RRC, and DTSC.
  • The cost is $30.00 per exam, consists of 250 questions on the Level I and Level III, 300 questions on Level II.
  • Student will need a minimum of 80% to be considered a pass. Scores are faxed to Credential office in Denver, CO.

MPRE (Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination)

Examinees needing to complete the MPRE must pre-register online

  • The test is administered at the Rampart Range Campus on the dates set by the NCBE (National Conference of Bar Examiners).
  • Examinees need to read through the strict guidelines for what you can take into the exam room with you and show up prepared to complete the exam.

  • Individuals that would like to get a certification through Certiport need to register with the company online.
