Chapter 31:
Vocational Rehabilitation Program
This chapter is for veterans who are disabled and are receiving benefits through Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Veterans Affairs. Your Chapter 31 counselor should be able to provide you with VA Form 28-1905, which should be brought to the PPCC VA certifying official for processing.
Chapter 33:
Post 9/11
- Application VA Form 22-1990
- DD214 (Discharge papers)
- Certificate of Eligibility showing the percentage of benefits awarded
When you recieve your Certifcate of Eligibility from the VA showing your percentage of benefits awarded, please submit a copy to the PPCC Veterans Affairs office on the Centennial Campus, 5675 S. Academy Blvd., room A-229.
Chapter 33 Transfer of Benefits
The Department of Defense (DoD) may offer you the opportunity to transfer benefits to your spouse or dependent children.
Apply for DoD Approval
Our office needs a copy of your:
- DoD approval
- Application VA Form 22-1990e
- Certificate of Eligibility
You can complete VA Form 22-1990e at the Centennial Campus or: www.gibill.va.gov
Please bring your documents to the PPCC Veterans Affairs office on the Centennial Campus, 5675 S. Academy Blvd., room A-229, for further processing. We have additional documents you need to sign before you can be certified.

Supplemental Students:
Students who are currently attending more than one college/university concurrently.
PPCC is Home School:
PPCC can only be the home school if student is attending another junior college or community college. The higher institution will always be the parent school because they award the higher degree--universities for example. Appropriate VA Education Application, notification from student that they will be attending more than one institution, class schedule from secondary school; student must meet with academic advisor to ensure classes taken at secondary institution will transfer into PPCC. PPCC will send parent letter to secondary school.
PPCC is Secondary School:
Appropriate VA Education Application (goes to home school), notification from student that PPCC will be secondary school, student meets with Academic Advisor at home school to ensure classes taken at PPCC will transfer back to home school. Home/(Parent) school will submit a parent letter to PPCC.
