Tutoring is a great way to raise your grade and become a better learner. All it takes is commitment. Our tutoring centers are here to help you be the most successful student possible. Both peer and faculty tutors are available at all campuses with free "drop in" tutoring at the Learning Assistance Centers, Math, Writing, and Science Centers. We recommend you make an appointment with a Writing Center tutor or request online support.
Please head to https://www.ppcc.edu/learning-commons for the most up to date information, any other information linked from this page may not contain current information about tutoring services.
The Downtown Campus has transitioned into a Learning Commons. Math, Science, and Writing tutoring will be offered in Room, N204. (Library services/research tutoring will be available on Tuesday and Wednesday).
Right now all the tutoring services are pretty spread out but by summer we will have centralized learning commons.
Changes include the integration of professional and peer tutors in each of the centers and expanded hours for tutoring. Tutoring services will continue to be offered through the Math Centers, Science and Health Learning Centers, Writing Centers, and the Learning Assistance Centers.
