Specialist Paul Smith spent a short but influential four years in the active army with 1-10 Cavalry out of Ft. Carson, Colorado. After serving, he and Kristina Smith set out to write a book unlike the many others about war in Iraq and Afghanistan by touching on the day-to-day lives of deployed service members in a light-hearted way.
A selection of the Military and History Book Clubs, it covers questions like: Is your Facebook page a threat to national security? What about your momma’s address? How can you receive no less than five marriage proposals by completely letting your appearance go while deployed in service to our country?
Sgt. Federico Flores stated: “Humorous, honest, and truthful, this easy-to-follow book kept me turning the pages. It’ll bring back a lot of memories for anyone who has been deployed and entertain those who are currently overseas.”
