For students registered with Accessibility Services, we offer AT evaluations and trainings.
What to expect during an AT evaluation
Students meet with the Access Specialist for a one-on-one interview. During this interview, students review areas of challenge, generate AT learning goals, and receive training on AT that may be supportive to meet those goals. In addition to one-on-one training, students are provided with written instructional guides for reference, covering the AT reviewed. AT may include text-to-speech reading options, speech-to-text writing options, notetaking options, alternative listening devices, alternative text, and much more.
What to expect for AT training
AT training is offered one-on-one and provided to students as many or as few times necessary for students to be comfortable with the technology.
