A collaborative production of the Theatre and Dance Departments, this performance is an emotionally powerful and socially aware look at the 1992 Los Angeles race riots. Created in conjunction with the Pikes Peak Library District’s “All Pikes Peak Reads” program which selected Anna Deavere Smith’s book and Tony-nominated play as its city-wide pick, this docudrama brings to life the first-person accounts and experiences of those who lived through the riots.

Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992 is co-directed by Theatre Chair Sarah S. Shaver and Dance Chair Stephanie Kobes-Newcomb and showcases PPCC current and former students, faculty, and staff.

General Seating, Free Admission. We are collecting non-perishable food and toiletries for the PPCC Food Pantry. Interpreting provided at all shows by ASL IPP 2nd year students.
