PPCC Foundation General Scholarship Application

Opens March 15, 2022. Submit your Application by April 26

 Generous donations to the PPCC Foundation will fund more than $1,200,000 in scholarships to PPCC students for the 2022/20223 school year. Scholarships help pay for tuition and fees and some also cover books and other costs of attending. There are scholarships available that will help you all the way to graduation with your certificate, associate’s degree, and even possibly your bachelor’s degree here at PPCC.

What you will need to complete the application

  • Student ID or S number
  • High school transcript if you graduated in the last three years
  • PPCC unofficial transcript if you are a current student 
  • A student or work resume
  • Personal statement where you share in 600 words or less
    • About yourself and why you chose to attend PPCC
    • What your school and work goals are for the next 3 years
    • How a scholarship would help you achieve your goals
    • What your plan is to complete your degree or certificate
  • Names and emails of 2-3 recommenders who are not your friends or family members
  • A short community service statement sharing how you serve the people in your community

Kane Family Foundation Scholarship

PPCC is grateful for the overwhelming generosity the Kane Family Foundation has shown in supporting students here at PPCC. This scholarship will cover tuition, fees, and required books for up to four semesters. It will be available to highly successful non- traditional students who are committed to:

  • Completing at least 12 credit hours per semester or more
  • Maintaining a 3.0 gpa at PPCC
  • Graduating within two years of beginning their program at PPCC

The Kane Family Foundation scholarship will be open during the regular scholarship application period (March 15 – April 26th) and can be completed after the general application is submitted.

Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges Scholarship (CCCS) Application

The application is now OPEN. Submit your application by 11:59 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2022.

Thanks to generous donors, the Foundation for Colorado Community Colleges is able to offer several scholarship opportunities for students attending or planning to attend any of the 13 Colorado Community College System colleges each academic year.  Simply complete the 22-23 Foundation Scholarship Common Application and with this one scholarship application, you will automatically qualify and be considered for all scholarships for which you are eligible.

The CCCS application is easy to complete and scholarships opportunities are available for every type of student:

  • NO letters of recommendation required
  • NO transcripts required
  • NO resumes required
  • NO interviews required are required
  • One application qualifies you for a variety of scholarships
  • Awards are generally for one year and range from $1,000-$5,000
  • ASSET students are eligible for many scholarship opportunities, except where noted otherwise
  • While not all of our scholarships require a FAFSA, we encourage completing one in order to qualify for the greatest number of scholarships.

To apply for PPCC Foundation Scholarships, you must be admitted as a student at PPCC. Log into your student account to view and apply for available scholarships.

To apply for external scholarships, go to the scholarship sponsor’s website for further information and instructions on how to apply. Outside scholarship providers are not under the jurisdiction of PPCC, therefore the college assumes no obligation for verification of the legitimacy of such providers listed on this website. 

You can also look for additional scholarship opportunities through scholarship search websites, professional associations, local service organizations, credit unions and banks, Colorado Foundations, The Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce, Veterans Service Organizations and Military Associations.
