Our Economics Degree

An Associate of Arts with designation in economics is ideal as a foundation for a Bachelor's degree. Students considering a four-year degree can begin at PPCC and transfer to any four-year public institution under guaranteed transfer agreements.

Associate of Arts (AA) with a designation in Economics

A two-year Associate of Arts degree (AA) with an Economics designation is intended to prepare students for transfer to a four-year institution to earn a Bachelor's degree in Economics.

Transfer Options

The Statewide Transfer Agreement will allow students to transfer to a Colorado public four-year school and complete their Bachelor's degree with an additional 60 credit hours. Transfers from PPCC should be reviewed prior to transfer to ensure that credits transfer within the new institution's Bachelor's degree requirements.
