Requirements for this scholarship:

  • Intent on pursuing a career in the actuarial profession
  • Will be a full-time undergraduate student at a U.S. accredited educational institution

Jack G. Shaheen Mass Communications Scholarship Awards

Requirements for this scholarship:

  • A one-page statement explaining why you merit the scholarship, your goals, how Jack Shaheen’s work influences your career, and a declaration that you are a U.S. citizen of Arab heritage
  • Two (2) original signed letters of recommendation from Mass Communications professors.
  • Copies of your articles, DVD’s, films, and so forth (these items will not be returned to you)

Requirements for this scholarship:

  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens or hold permanent resident status
  • Minority students who will be entering their freshman year of college in the fall of 2020 are eligible to apply

Requirements for this scholarship:

  • Be at least 17 years of age
  • Be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents (holders of a Permanent Resident card), or individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA)
  • Have received a high school diploma or the equivalent from a U.S. school by September 2019
  • Have completed or expect to successfully complete a minimum of one full year of postsecondary education by June 2020
