Pikes Peak Community College is working cooperatively with higher education authorities in all states and other us jurisdictions to ensure compliance with state authorization requirements that govern the offering of online courses in those states, including complaint processes.
The State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) is an agreement among member states, districts, and territories that establishes comparable national standards for interstate offering of postsecondary online courses. It is intended to make it easier for students to take online courses offered by postsecondary institutions based in another state.
If you plan on taking PPCC Online Campus classes, please check the SARA Map to verify that your state has either authorized or exempted our college to offer classes or programs to you as a resident of your state.
If you are eligible to have a (SARA) enrollment hold removed from your account:
- Student must update their address through the Change of Address form
- Student must contact PPCC Records to request the SARA hold be removed by:
- email PPCC Records
- calling (719) 502-3000
- visiting one of the PPCC campuses
For general questions regarding state authorization rules for distance education and online courses, please contact Jacqueline Tomrdle at 719-502-3050 or Jacqueline.firstname.lastname@example.org.
