File Manager

Accessing the File Manager

There are two primary ways to access the file manager:

  1. Edit a content block and click on either the "Add Image" or "Add File" buttons
  2. Click on the "Dashboard" button and then click on the File Manager tab.

Uploading Files

At the top right of the of File Manager window are the upload tools. You can upload single files one at a time, or you can upload multiple files simultaneously.

If you are uploading just one file:

  1. Click the "Browse" button to find the file to upload
  2. Locate and select the file you want, click "Open"
  3. Click on the "Upload File" button
  4. An "Upload Complete" dialog will appear.
  5. If you wish, you can edit the Title or Description of the file by clicking on the underlined link in the properties table
  6. When you are finished, you can close the "Upload Complete" dialog by clicking "Continue"

If you want to upload multiple files:

  1. Click on the "Upload Multiple" button in the top right of the window
  2. Click on the "Add Files" button
  3. Select the files that you want to upload
  4. Click on "Start Uploads"
  5. An "Upload Complete" dialog will appear
  6. If you wish, you can edit the Title or Description of the file by clicking on the underlined link in the properties table
  7. When you are finished, you can close the "Upload Complete" dialog by clicking "Continue"

Assigning Sets:

To assign the file(s) to existing sets or a new one click on the "Sets" tab after uploading
or by click on a files thumbnail in the list view and selecting sets

  1. Select which sets you want to associate your uploaded files with
  2. To create a new set with the new files assigned enter a name in the field under the "Add  to New Set" heading
  3. Check "Make set public" if you want to share files in the new set with other users
