Login Instructions


myPPCC Portal at

  1. Username: Student ID number. S########
    S is the only letter in your ID. There are NO letter O’s.
  2. Your initial password is your birthdate MMDDYY
    (example: 012586).
  3. Click “Submit.”
  4. You will be prompted to create a new password and a response to a security question.

Forgot your password?

Click on the "Forgot Password" link. Enter in Student ID number, click “Submit.”
Answer the security question, click “Submit” and your password will be reset.

Student E-mail

  1. Sign onto your portal account at, click on “Student Email” icon on the top right-hand side of the page.
    Microsoft Office 365 will come up if you haven’t set up your email yet. *
    If it pops up, it will ask you for your password and request you change it.

  2. The default password is your birthday with the month spelled out with a capital first letter (January), your two digit day (05) and four-digit year (1986) (January051986).

  3. In the second and third boxes, enter in the same password you used for the portal.

  4. Press “Submit” and close the box that pops up.

  5. Click “Student Email” icon again.

  6. Choose time zone.

  7. Click “Ok.” This will take you into your student email.
    Please note:

    • If you have Windows XP installed on your computer, and are using Internet Explorer 6, you will need to upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer. You may download and install Internet Explorer 8 from Microsoft's website.

    • If you have Microsoft Office 2003 installed on your computer, and you are using Outlook to access your student email, you will need to upgrade to Microsoft Office 2007, 2010, or later for this functionality to continue to work. Your local IT department or bookstore can provide you with information on discounted pricing available to you for Microsoft Office.

To forward emails from your student account to your primary email account or sync your student email to your mobile phone, follow the instructions below.

Forwarding Student Mail to Your Personal Email Account

  1. In Outlook (on Office 365), select See All Options from the Options drop down bar (upper right corner).

  2. Click on the Connected Accounts tab (near the top of the page).

  3. In the Forwarding section, enter your personal email address in the “Forward my email to:’ field, then click on the Start Forwarding button, then click on the Save button.

Note: If your Office 365 email account becomes full, forwarding will not work. Therefore, it is important to log on to your Office 365 email account periodically to manage the size of your account by deleting unwanted email messages.

Syncing Student Email to Your Mobile Phone

  1. In Outlook (on Office 365), select See All Options from the Options drop down bar (upper right corner).

  2. Select Phone from the left column.

  3. Click on ‘configure the phone to synchronize with Microsoft Exchange’ link.

  4. Click on ‘Mobile Phone Setup Wizard’ link (found in the middle of the page).

  5. Choose your ‘mobile phone operating system’ from the drop-down bar.

  6. Select from the ‘What would you like to do’ drop down bar.

  7. Print the instructions by clicking on the ‘print’ link (upper left).

Classroom and Lab Computers

First Time Student Login Credentials

Your username corresponds to your Student ID number (don't' forget the S); while your default password is composed by the word Student followed by your birthdate in the format MMDDYYYY. 

You will be asked to change the password upon the first login and will have to enter a new password\passphrase of at least 14 characters with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers and/or special characters. Do not use any parts of your name in your password\passphrase. If parts of your name match the word student, then your default password will have the word Password instead of the word Student.
