Working to End Housing Insecurity

We at PPCC are building and leading efforts to end housing insecurity in our community. By working toward promoting affordable housing and working toward creating more stable neighborhoods, we will make our communities better and bring people out of homelessness.

Why is PPCC Fighting Housing Insecurity?

Pursuing a degree at PPCC can be one of the greatest challenges that our students undertake in their lives. Those students that contend with homelessness, or the risk of homelessness, face additional challenges that can make finding success difficult. We at PPCC are committed to fighting housing insecurity by being thought leaders and advocates. Students succeed at PPCC, regardless of their housing status.

Our Guiding Principles

  • Housing insecurity can lessen a student's potential to succeed.
  • We are committed to working to allow our students to reach their full potential.
  • PPCC has an obligation as a steward of our community to act against housing insecurity.
  • To serve our students and community, we will partner with local, state, federal, business, and non-profit partners to make our community housing secure and affordable.
