To receive a tuition refund or adjustment, students must drop classes by the deadline listed in the class schedule. No refund or adjustments will be made after deadline unless documentation of extenuating circumstances, such as extended illness of the student or immediate family member or extended unplanned military service, can be provided. Tuition Appeal forms are available in the Enrollment Services Center on all three campuses. Tuition Appeal Medical Documentation forms must accompany the tuition appeal form if the appeal is medically based. Appeals for past school years cannot be considered. Contract programs may have different refund procedures. Please call (719) 502-3004 with any questions about the refund/adjustment process that relates to tuition appeal.
Pikes Peak Community College has partnered with BankMobile (Formerly Higher One), a financial services company focused solely on higher education, to bring a new method for receiving tuition refunds.
PPCC Students will no longer receive a paper check unless this is your BankMobile preference choice. You will also have a choice of having your refund deposited into a BankMobile account, or have it ACH transferred into your personal bank account, based on your preference. A Bank Mobile personal code will be mailed to your personal address in Banner, it is very important that students verify that their address is correct.
Once received, students will need to select a refund preference by following the instructions mailed with the code, or visiting the refund page. Upon refund preference selection, you will be asked to select your preferred method of receiving your PPCC refund. Even if you are not currently expecting a refund from Pikes Peak Community College, there may be a refund due to you in the future. Learn more about choices and the benefits provided by BankMobile Disbursements.

Residency in the State of Colorado
To be considered a Colorado resident, a student must show proof of residency in the state for the immediate 12 months prior to the start date of the semester, and meet other requirements. If you are a new student who has been classified as a non-resident and feel you are a resident or if you are a continuing non-resident student and feel you now meet residency requirements, you must petition for this change by the first day of the semester you plan to attend. Turning in a petition does not guarantee you will be changed to resident status. If your appeal is denied and you do not drop your classes by the drop date, you will have to pay non-resident tuition.
Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Program.
Residents of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming qualify for a special tuition rate. WUE students are not eligible for the Colorado Opportunity Fund stipend. The student must mark on the application for admission that he/she seeks admission as a WUE student. Requests for WUE enrollment must be done each semester. Contact the Enrollment Services Center at 719-502-3000 for additional information.
