PPCC has advisors and enrollment specialists ready to help you get registered. We also have academic and student support teams to help you succeed.
Learn MoreAt PPCC, students get the opportunity to experience different types of Engineering.
Not only do you get to participate in these opportunities but you can connect with
industries and begin to build engineering experience for your resume and career field.
This program emphasizes the foundation for the engineering field you choose, such
as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering,
Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or nearly any Engineering Degree. We have
a large list of schools that offer agreements for degrees in engineering with PPCC.

Engineering is currently designated as an Other Program and Course of Study. This
course of study is led by the Mathematics Department in the Division of Math and English.
The Engineering transfer track is currently designed for students who are interested
in the field of engineering and plan to begin at PPCC and continue on for their bachelors
at a 4-year university. The transfer track, while not necessarily resulting in an
AS degree, does offer the equivalent of the course work of the first two years of
college engineering studies in preparation for transfer to an engineering school.
You will work closely with an Advisor to identify your goals and plan your degree
to meet your needs and those of the school where you plan to transfer. Because of
the varied differences of freshman and sophomore level courses needed for specific
engineering programs, it is strongly recommended that students plan a program of study
with engineering advisors prior to or during the first term of study.
