Nursing Assistant Program

Why Choose NUA?
If you have a passion for bedside care, we can turn your passion into a career. Join one of the nation's fastest-growing industries, earn your certificate and begin working in as little as ten weeks.

Upon graduating with the Nursing Assistant Certificate over 90% of our students get jobs in the industry. The demand for Nursing Assistants has increased by 12% per year and is expected to continue to increase dramatically. Additionally, hospitals are shifting toward hiring more Certified Nursing Assistants.

PPCC Nursing Assistant students are provided an extensive, in-depth bedside education. This program is treated as a nursing preparatory course, and students are given nearly twice as much in-class and clinical experience than required by the Colorado State Board of Nursing.

PPCC prepares its nursing assistant students with the skills, technical competence, and know-how needed to find a rewarding career. Graduates have a reputation for being caring, skilled and efficient nursing assistants, who are highly sought after in our community.
