Food for a Day and The Community Table

You need to be currently enrolled and bring any picture ID! Students can receive a package of food for a day. There are hygiene kits available. If you need more than a day's worth of food, visit The Community Table in Room A-312. We are always accepting donations!

The Courtyard

The Courtyard is located just outside The Grove. This is an outdoor gathering spot on campus. It features picnic tables, goofy orange chairs that you can move around to form cluster seating, Wi-Fi, and a solar-powered table that has outlets for you to charge your electronics while you relax in the shade.

The Grove

The Grove, Room A-201, is our Commons area at our main Centennial campus. It features free Wi-Fi, comfortable furniture, a big screen TV, cool art, and more. Pull up to the window counter with your laptop and log on. Gather around a large table for a quick bite or study group. In The Grove, you can meet students, find friends, and hang out. Don't get too comfortable or we might have to remind you to go to class!

So what’s up with that name? It’s true, an aspen grove is a lovely place to gather. But it’s more than that. An aspen grove is the largest living interconnected organism in the world. Its defining characteristics are longevity, a hardy nature, and interconnectedness. The Grove in the Student Life Center is so named, first, because of its location in the Aspen Building, but more-so because it reflects the Student Life mission of building community by focusing on the interconnectedness of the campus community.

There are three lounge areas for students at the Rampart Range Campus, in addition to a dining area in the Atrium. Both the East and West Wing lounge areas have courtesy phones, comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, and vending machines. An additional vending area is located off of the Atrium next to the food service area. A large, quiet study lounge is located next to the Student Life Offices.
