Your Rights & Responsibilities:

Federal regulations require that institutions provide specific consumer information about the school and financial aid to current students, prospective students, and employees.

This information may be obtained by contacting the PPCC Human Resources Services office or viewing our right to know documentation.

All students are expected to abide by the Pikes Peak  Student Code of Conduct.

This ensures a safe and productive learning environment for the entire PPCC community,

The Student Grievance Procedure is intended to allow students an opportunity to present an issue which they feel warrants action, including the right to secure educational benefits and services.

The Colorado General Assembly implemented the Student Bill of Rights (C.R.S. 23-1-125) to assure that students enrolled in public institutions of higher education have a series of rights.

Students and staff can fill out an online form to report:

  • Academic Concern
  • Service Department or Employee Concern/Complaint
  • Discrimination/Harassment Complaint
  • Student Conduct
  • Disturbing Student Behavior

Pikes Peak  is firmly committed to maintaining a work and learning environment where students, faculty, and staff are treated with dignity and respect.

Information about Cost & Financial Aid :

Receiving financial aid all starts with filing your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application!

We understand the process can be confusing and even overwhelming.

Knowledgeable PPCC financial aid office staff members help you:

  • complete the financial aid process
  • explore scholarships, grants, loans, internships, and campus jobs
  • answer questions about cost, tuition payments, and opportunities for financial help

Generous donations to the PPCC Foundation fund numerous scholarship opportunities each year.

Scholarships help pay for tuition and fees and some also cover books and other costs of attending.

There are scholarships available that will help you all the way to graduation!

Part of Pikes Peak's mission is to provide educational opportunities accessible to all.

One way we do this is through affordable education. View our tuition and fees.

Information about Payment Options and Payment Plans are under Costs & AId on our main webpage.

This Net Price Calculator is intended to provide estimated net price information to current and prospective students and their families. Pricing is based on what similar students paid in a previous year.

Pikes Peak accreditation is through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). PPCC has been accredited since 1975.

Pikes Peak strives to provide a quality education for our students. PPCC assessment is critical to programs - to confirm or improve student learning, educational quality, and to meet accreditation requirements.

We encourage and support the scholarly endeavors of our students. Pursuit of scholarly work and research often involves the use of human subjects for data collection and analysis. PPCC’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) reviews human subjects research proposals to ensure that

  • The rights and welfare of human subjects used in research studies are protected,
  • Risks have been considered and minimized, iii) the potential for benefit has been identified and maximized,
  • All human subjects only volunteer to participate in research after being provided with legally effective informed consent, and
  • Any research is conducted in an ethical manner and in compliance with established standards.

Students seeking to conduct such research may not solicit subject participation or begin data collection until they have obtained clearance by the PPCC Institutional Review Board.
