The Office of Sustainability invites you to create art from reused materials at home (no experience necessary). Use your resourcefulness and creativity skills as you take one hour to two weeks to make trash art. We challenge you, PPCC students, to look at trash differently, seeing beauty and potential where there is waste. Your artwork could win 1st Place and $100 Bookstore Gift Voucher.
Watch video demonstrations on how to create trash art. See the videos below or visit our Facebook pages and YouTube Channel Trash Art Hour Playlist.
Help us pick up litter along our adopted portion of Monument Creek. We will provide gloves, bags, and trash grabbers. You should bring sun protection, sturdy boots, and a reusable water bottle. Cleanups are more enjoyable when you invite family and friends!
In the spring, we join the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup: Pikes Peak Partners. In the fall, we join the Fountain Creek Watershed Flood Control and Greenway District's Creek Week Cleanup.
We have canceled our cleanup for the Spring Semester 2020.
