Social Work Degree & Certificates

PPCC offers an Associate of Arts (AA) Social Work Transfer Degree, designed to allow students to complete a bachelor's degree at one of several 4-year institutions, as well as certificates designed to allow new and current industry professionals the ability to advance in their careers and gain valuable knowledge.

Associate of Arts Social Work

An Associate of Arts degree in Social Work will allow students to develop the skills necessary to start their career's in the social work field while also preparing them to move on in higher education. Transfer agreements allow students to transfer two full years of coursework to a 4-year institution for the eventual completion of a Bachelor of Social Work degree.

Associate of Arts (AA) in Social Work (Transfer)

This program provides the first two years for transfer students who wish to pursue a career in social work or the human services field. Because of different requirements at four-year institutions, it is important that students work with advisors. Students planning to transfer to CSU-Pueblo should contact a Faculty Advisor. Students transferring to Metro State University must consult with their program advisor, as Metro State has a slightly different articulation agreement.
