College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
CLEP provides a chance for students to earn college credit by examination. All CLEP exams are computer-based. PPCC administers all of the exams offered by the College Level Exam Program. Before you register for any CLEP exam, contact your admissions or academic advisor to confirm that your school awards credits for the exam you are planning to take. Students may send their scores to any school that accepts CLEP for credit. Learn more about how to register for and schedule your exam.
DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST)
Designed originally for the military, DSST Exams are available to all students and adult learners now. DSSTs provide a chance for students to earn college credit for what they have learned in non-traditional ways. The DSST exams are used by adult education programs, the United States Department of Defense and two- and four-year colleges. Before you register for any DSST exam, contact your admissions or academic advisor to confirm that your school awards credits for the test you are planning to take.
